Ski Resort Revenues Grow, Profitability Healthy
"According to preliminary results of the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) Economic Analysis, the 2006/07 ski season was another strong season financially. The past season was the fifth consecutive year of solid financial performance with increases in gross revenue and a healthy operating profit for the ski resort industry.
In 2006/07, average gross revenue grew 5.7%, to a total of $23.0 million per resort. Over the past five years, gross revenue has grown 21.5%, averaging 4.3% per year." ...
